Laser pigment removal offers a safe and effective method for permanently removing birthmarks, sun spots, age spots and freckles.
Treatment Options
Candela Alexandrite Laser or Pastelle Q-switch Laser
We use a red light laser (Candela GentleLase) which is attracted to dark pigment in the skin. The light energy damages the pigment, and although it will darken for a week after the treatment, the body will reabsorb the damaged pigment and the pigment in the area treated will disappear or lighten.

How many treatments will I need?
This depends on the severity of the pigment to be treated, but generally you will see significant results after one treatment, but up to three may be needed.
Is there any downtime?
As mentioned above, pigment will darken in the week following treatment - this is normal, and it will not remain this way. After this, the darkness will fade and your pigmentation should be either removed or lightened.
