Is it permanent?
The hair that is destroyed by laser hair removal will never grow back, however, there is such a thing as dormant hair follicles that may not have been active at the time of treatment, but can become active later in life. This is mostly due to hormonal influence, and often occurs on the face for women during menopause. For this reason, touch up treatments may be required eventually.
How many treatments will I need?
You will notice significant results after 1-2 treatments, but to be completely hair free, multiple treatments (Between 6-8) are required.
How does it work?
Red laser light is attracted to dark pigment (So only dark-haired individuals are able to get laser hair removal) the heat energy from the laser light damages the hair follicle to the extent that it is no longer able to produce a hair.
Why Candela Laser?
We use an Alexandrite Candela GentleLase Laser, which is a red light laser with patented cryogen cooling spray technology. This means that the treatment is far more comfortable and safe that treatments performed with some other lasers, as it protects and cools the skin.

What is the Depilar System?
The Depilar System is a third generation gel product that is formulated using natural enzymes, trypsin and chymotrypsin. It works to encourage an increase in enzyme activity ignorer to drive deep into the base of her production cells, impeding future hair growth and leaving the skin feeling silky smooth.
What is the treatment process?
The 2 Depilar System gels are applied to the skin by the practitioner using the flooring steps.
- Removing the hair by the root by either plucking or waxing.
- Applying the Inhibitor gel and massaging it into the skin for 1 minute.
- Applying the Activator gel and massaging it into the skin for 1 minute.
- Avoid washing off the Depilar gel for 4 hours.
How frequently will I need treatments?
All good things take time and the Depilar System will work well if the treatment protocol is followed.
To effectively treat all hair follicles with the Depilar System 2-4 week intervals between treatments are recommended for face and 3-6 week intervals for body treatments.

How long will it take to see results?
This varies on the area being treated and individual results.
Successive and regular treatments are required over 16 to 24 months (depending on area) to completely treat all targeted hair. After each successive treatment the regrowth tome for remaining hair will be longer and the hairs finer and easier to remove. A noticeable result can be achieves after 2-3 treatments.
Are there any aftercare instructions?
Aftercare instructions are as follows:
- Do not remove gel residue for 4 hours
- Refrain form using perfumed creams, self tanners, make-up or deodorant for 24 hours
- Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours to treated body areas that could be exposed to the sun
