Anti-wrinkle injections

The drugs used in anti wrinkle injections are natural, purified protein that relax the muscles responsible for wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections are a non-surgical procedure whereby small amounts of the drug are injected into selected facial muscles using a very fine needle. Effects vary depending on the facial muscles treated. For instance, any anti wrinkle injections around the mouth typically last 8 weeks as theses muscles are extremely active compared to other facial muscles. Other facial muscle injections typically last up tp 4 months or more in some individuals.

Administering the correct dose is important in achieving longevity but avoiding the 'Frozen' look.

Possible side effects include pain, burning or stinging; bruising, swelling or redness at the injection site; local muscle weakness including drooping eyelids or eyebrows; swollen eyelids and skin tightness; tingling sensation, itching or aching forehead; headaches, nausea and flu-like symptoms.

There is very little downtime with anti-wrinkle injections. After your procedure, you can return to your day-to-day activities straight away.
